Most 3PLs Send a Congratulations Email. We Do This Instead.
A Great Partnership Starts with a Great Launch Day
For most 3PLs, launch day is a checklist. Systems connected. Inventory confirmed. First orders moving. All boxes checked.
At Barrett, we have never seen it that way. Launch day is not the end of the onboarding process. It is the beginning of the partnership.
This is the day everything your team has been working toward finally becomes real. The planning, the late-night emails, the integration calls, the “can we just confirm this one more time” moments. All of it leads here, and we think that deserves a little more than a thumbs up and a congratulations email.
We Actually Prepare for You
When clients walk into a Barrett facility on launch day, they are not walking into a generic warehouse bay with a folding table and a handshake. We set up a dedicated space for them. Their branding is there. Their product is on display. It feels like theirs, because we built it that way.
It takes some extra effort. We do it anyway, because first impressions inside a partnership matter just as much as first impressions during a sales call.
The Live Launch Lunch (LLL)
We do not do the default pizza order. We research our clients, their brand, their team, and we build a launch day around that. Our marketing team had a little too much fun giving this day a title, but we landed on Live Launch Lunch or LLL. Yes, it is a tongue twister. Yes, we are keeping it.
But the name is not the point. The point is that it tells clients something from the moment they sit down: Barrett is paying attention before you even get here. The number of times clients have said “wait, you did this for us?” is honestly one of our favorite parts of the job.

The First Package Is a Big Deal
At some point during every launch day, the first package rolls off the line and heads out the door. We stop for it. We record it. We make a moment of it.
The first packages mean the plan worked. The two teams who barely knew each other a year ago, or even longer, got to this point, together. That is worth celebrating, even if its just a minute before the next hundred orders flow in.
Partnership Is a Word a Lot of Companies Use
We know. We use it too. But launch day is honestly one of the best ways we know how to show what partnership means to us in practice.
Live Launch Lunches are not mentioned in your contract. We do it because we want you to feel, from day one, you are not just another account, and we aren’t just your 3PL. We are an extension of your company.
We are not trying to be your 3PL for a year or two. We are your forever 3PL.
