Barrett Distribution Centers Receives Pacesetter Award From Boston Business Journal; Donates to One Fund Boston

Franklin, MA - June 17, 2013 - Barrett Distribution Centers recently received the distinction of a Pacesetter Award from the Boston Business Journal. The awards highlight the 70 local companies with the highest three-year growth rate in revenue, starting with a baseline of $1 million. Barrett Distribution ranked as the 37th fastest growing company in Boston.

“As a top logistics and fulfillment provider, we have expanded in key markets in the Northeast to become more accessible to our customers,” said Tim Barrett, COO. He continued, “Our efforts resulted in tremendous growth, and we are honored to accept the Boston Business Journal’s Pacesetter Award in recognition.”

As part of the 2013 Pacesetter Award event, the 70 companies raised over $76,000 for the One Fund Boston. Barrett Distribution Centers donated an additional $5,000 to support victims of the marathon day bombings. Barrett Distribution adds the 2013 Pacesetter Award to several other distinctions in the past year, including INC. Magazine’s Fastest Growing 500/5000 and the Family Business Award (FBA) of Massachusetts.
