Barrett Distribution Centers Wins the 2014 Green Supply Chain Award

Franklin, MA- November 12, 2014- Barrett Distribution Centers has been honored by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as a recipient in their 7th Annual Green Supply Chain Awards.  The 2014 Green Supply Chain Awards recognize companies that are making sustainability a core part of their supply chain strategy.

The award winners were chosen based on the clarity and content of their goals and strategy, the extent of the steps taken, results to date and projected results.  This year’s awards recognize small, mid-size and large companies that implemented green solutions to drive sustainable improvements in their supply chain.

This is not Barrett Distribution Center’s first recognition for sustainability.  In 2012 Barrett was named to the GXT Green Honor Roll.  Last year, Barrett Distribution Centers COO, Tim Barrett, was featured in Inc. Magazine for an article focused on green initiatives.

The 2014 Green Supply Chain Award winners will be featured in the December issue of Supply & Demand Chain Executive.
