Arthur has over 23 years of experience in the 3rd party logistics and supply chain industries. He drives our quality systems from the top down and was integral in leading Barrett to the world class accuracy and customer satisfaction levels we have achieved. Arthur is recognized as a forward thinker and leader in the third party industry. He serves on the IT and Education Committees of the International Warehousing and Logistics Association (IWLA). Arthur is a past Board Member of the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC), and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the IWLA.

Timothy Barrett, Chief Operating Officer

Tim has 14 years of experience in the logistics and outsourced distribution industry. He and Arthur have developed Barrett Distribution into the leading third party distribution company in New England. His main focus is on customer satisfaction and this emphasis is reflected throughout the Barrett organization. He is a Past President of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, New England Roundtable. Before joining Barrett Distribution, Tim spent several years with the Boston office of PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Mark Sotir, Director of Customer Relations
Lesley University MS – Management

Mark handles our customer relations and is an internal customer advocate and liaison with our operations team. He will be directly involved with new accounts during the first 3 months of operation. After this initial period, Mark will continue to be a go-to person for any service issues. Mark runs quarterly meetings with our customers to continuously improve the overall operation and satisfaction of our customers and consignees. Mark has 25 years experience in distribution center and transportation operations, including 18 years in various management positions at UPS. Mark was COO of a third party distribution company prior to joining Barrett.

Bob Willert, Director of Operations
University of Buffalo B.S. – Business Administration

Bob runs our Mansfield and Franklin distribution centers, where he is responsible for accounts such as Best Buy, Tivoli Audio, Forte Cashmere, and Macy’s returns processing. Bob has 20 years of operations experience. Most recently, he was C.O.O. of Cherry & Webb, where he ran all aspects of this retail operation, including all distribution centers. Prior to Cherry & Webb, Bob was Director of Operations for Century 21 Department Stores in New York.

Jay Scheiner, Director of Administration
Suffolk University, M.B.A.
The City College of New York, B.A.

Jay has over 25 years experience in the retail and wholesale industries at the executive level. Jay's focus is on customer satisfaction and administrative areas, including Finance, IT, Transportation, Customer Service and Industrial Engineering. Prior to joining Barrett, Jay was both a C.O.O. and C.I.O. for several New England retailers and distributors.

Tom Shiels, Director of Customer Services

Tom manages our Franklin operation. As Director of Customer Services, Tom is also liaison between our IT team and the client's IT department for all locations. Tom headed up our Synapse WMS implementation in 2005, and is instrumental in the ongoing development Barrett's in-house IT expertise. Tom's 25 years of distribution and fulfillment experience includes managing 1 million sq ft distribution centers for TJ Maxx; multiple startups; and managing up to 1,800 people. At Chadwick's of Boston, Tom was the Vice President of Fulfillment. His responsibilities included multiple facilities shipping over 100,000 orders per day and transportation. Improving service levels and reducing costs have always been a priority for Tom.

Anthony Dzikiewicz, IT Manager
Johnson & Wales University B.S. Computer Systems

Anthony's personal mission is to have our information systems give Barrett and our clients a sustainable competitive advantage over our competitors. A primary focus is to ensure that Barrett's IT environment is robust, and supports the goal of uninterrupted customer support. Anthony brings 25 years of experience in IT, the last 15 years in a 24/7 warehouse operation supporting a major furniture retailer in Massachusetts.

Russell Eng, Manager of Process Engineering
Northeastern University Bachelors Engineering Technology

Russell has 20 years of transportation experience from various management positions at UPS Supply Chain Management Group. Russell’s Industrial Engineering background helps Barrett to improve customer service and optimize product flow and efficiency. Russell’s systems experience is instrumental in optimizing our processes.

Chuck Collins, Operations Manager
Westfield State College B.A. - Criminal Justice

Chuck manages the daily operations of our Franklin headquarters location, where he oversees accounts such as i-Party, Lenbrook America, Lindt & Sprungli, Dana Corp, ADM Cocoa and Harwick Standard. Chuck has 20 years of experience in the logistics field. Before joining Barrett Distribution, Chuck was a distribution manager in Lechmere and City Sports retail operations.

Sue Wilson, Operations Manager,
North Adams State College B.S. Business Administration

Sue is responsible for our Best Buy contract operation, supporting 50 retail locations in the northeast. Sue has 20 years of experience in distribution, reverse logistics and systems integration. Sue completed a formal Six Sigma Black Belt curriculum administered by IBM, and she has actively participated in Six Sigma initiatives as an SME in connection with inventory control and logistics operations. Prior to joining Barrett, Sue most recently held the position of Manager, Inventory Control and Third-party Relations with Pitney Bowes in Stamford CT.

Kevin Moran, Operations Manager

Kevin runs our Best Buy Contract Distribution Center. Kevin has 16 years of distribution center management experience, including 18 years of various distribution management roles with Filene's Basement. Kevin was the distribution manager for Petco's northeastern regional distribution center prior to joining Barrett.
